Delivery to Burns Lake

Burns Lake is small on the map and large in practice. The village sits on Highway 16, but the area it serves fans out well beyond it — south across Francois Lake to the Southside communities, north toward Babine Lake and Granisle, and out to several First Nations communities in the surrounding district. Freight arriving in Burns Lake is often not finished travelling, so getting it here on a predictable schedule matters more than it does in a town where everything is within five minutes.

Forestry drives most of what we carry into the Lakes District: parts and consumables for mill operations, supplies for logging contractors, and materials for the trades that work alongside them. The rest is the ordinary business of keeping a remote community stocked — retail freight, hardware, and the one-off shipments that people would otherwise drive three hours to Prince George to collect themselves.
