The fleet

Whatever size the load is

Box trucks in three lengths, so freight gets matched to the right unit instead of paying for empty deck. Every one of them carries a tailgate.

16 ft

Box truck

Smaller loads and tight downtown drops where a longer unit cannot turn around or back in.

20 ft

Box truck

The middle of the fleet. A few skids plus loose freight riding the same run.

26 ft

Box truck

Full loads and bulky freight that needs the deck length for the long haul down the corridor.

Tailgate on every truck

No dock, no forklift, no problem. Every unit runs a power tailgate, so freight is lowered to ground level instead of being wrestled off a deck.

Package to pallet

A single envelope, a pair of tires, or ten skids of building supply. Small shipments ride the daily line at a shared rate rather than waiting for a truckload to fill.

Our own dock in Prince George

Drop freight off at the Prince George dock on your own schedule, or have us collect it. Either way it moves on the next run.

WCB compliant, NSC certified

WorkSafeBC coverage in good standing and a National Safety Code carrier profile. Ask and we will send the numbers for your vendor file.

Last-mile around Terrace

Local delivery through Terrace, Thornhill and Kitimat, including residential drops the national carriers will not make.

Kamloops and the Lower Mainland

Need a load brought up from the south? We pick up in Kamloops, Vancouver and the Fraser Valley and haul it north to the corridor. Booked per load rather than on the daily schedule.

Standing weekly freight

Shipping the same lane every week? A standing booking holds deck space and locks the rate.

Before you call

Straight answers

Where exactly do you run?

Highway 16 between Prince George and Prince Rupert, delivering in Vanderhoof, Burns Lake, Houston, Smithers and Terrace along the way. Kitimat is on the run too — it is only 58 km south of Terrace on Highway 37, so it goes out with the same load. Thornhill is covered with the Terrace deliveries.

Can you bring a load up from Kamloops or the Lower Mainland?

Yes. We pick up in Kamloops, Vancouver and the Fraser Valley and haul north to the Highway 16 corridor. It is not a daily scheduled run the way the 16 is, so it is booked and quoted per load — call with the pickup address, the destination and roughly what is moving.

How often does the truck run?

Tuesday through Saturday, in both directions. Sunday and Monday are down days, so freight tendered Saturday afternoon moves Tuesday.

How small or large a shipment will you take?

Anything from a single package to a full truckload of pallets. We run 16, 20 and 26 ft box trucks, so the load gets matched to the right unit rather than paying for space you do not use.

Do I need a loading dock?

No. Every truck carries a power tailgate, so freight is set down at ground level at a curb, in a yard, or in a driveway. If you would rather use a dock, ours in Prince George is open to you.

Are you insured and safety certified?

Yes. Jagnahar Transport is WCB compliant and operates under the National Safety Code. We can send our WorkSafeBC clearance and NSC carrier number for your vendor file on request.

How is a rate worked out?

Distance between stops, the deck space your freight takes, and how it has to be handled. You get a flat number before pickup — no fuel surcharge added afterward.
